Beauty of the Sea: Lagoona Blue Custom Outfit

~Aioue got me a Monster High Dot Dead Gorgeous Lagoona Blue doll as an early birthday gift. She, along with Ghoulia and Abbey are my favorite characters from the show and I was super excited to finally own a MH doll. I've always loved BJDs but it is a hobby I cannot afford, so now I can have my little doll hobby with MH dolls... much cheaper for me lol I saw potential for creativity. There are so many gorgeous custom repaints, costumes and accessories... I felt compelled to try my hand at it. I can't sew for the life of me, so for this first dress it is just assorted ribbons taped together until I can figure out how to actually make it a workable dress lol I also made her jewelry from glass, stone, and shell beads. I stylized her hair a bit and used some blue and pink makeup to give her skin some depth and tone. I will definitely be making more elaborate outfits, likely all glue-together clothes with velcro backings. I also am getting an Abbey doll to try my hand at repainting the face. We'll see how it goes, hopefully I won't ruin the doll lol Anywho, enjoy!
