Monster High Custom: Cordelia Closeup

I purchased the create-your-own-monster starter set with the witch and cat dolls. I decided to start working on the witch and 6 hours later this is what I have I do wish those sets came with 2 wigs, I have the purple wig on the catgirl, but my witch was bald. I found a hairpiece I had and took the barrette off, threading it through her head, wrapping it around her scalp, and holding it all together with a rubber band. I topped it with a ribbon to cover the rubber band and that seemed to work well. I really love the pink and black, mixed with elements of green and blue, and the red of her eyes and lips. I used prisma colored pencils and they were kind of grainy compared to the derwents, so I wound up going over a lot of it with acrylics. I also used a bit too much spray fix, so her face is a bit shiny, but at least the paint and all is well-sealed. I had a lot of fun with this
