Description
I recently became a member of the Saratoga Arts Council and on November 14th I will be submitting this piece to the gallery at the Arts Center. It will be up until December 31st and is part of the Annual Member's Exhibit. This is the first piece I will ever have in an art gallery (not counting my senior thesis show in the Tang Museum at Skidmore College).
Size and mediums: 19"x24" ink on bristol paper.
I drew this with a fine point sharpie, took me roughly 30 minutes. No pencil, no rough sketches, no thumbnails. I just went right at it and tried not to criticize myself as I drew.
It didn't come out exactly how I envisioned it in my head, but it's due to my lack of experience and knowledge with using watercolors. I know the water is not terribly reflective or watery and some parts are a bit muddy, but meh... I try not to criticize my work but I can't help it xD
