Sterling Silver Amethyst Ring

This is the second ring I had to make so far. This one is fabricated from sheet metal and this is the first time I ever bezel set a gemstone. The stone is a big African Amethyst, very deep purple and very pretty ^^ Good thing my mom collected gem stones lol Anyway I had issues making my carved out designs perfectly symmetrical, plus getting the bezel onto the ring was hard for me so the ring wound up being too big, so I soldered on another strip of metal into the band...but it's still too big ;.; I wish I had more time to perfect it but it's due tomorrow. Oh and the bezel is not closed yet, the teacher's going to show us all how to do that tomorrow. Once I hand it in I won't get it back until the end of the semester so...I want to show it to you all now lol
